Toys photo shoot

I found these pictures on my camera the other day after the boys had been playing with their Batman Castle. They were pretty brave to use the camera without asking. I didn't included the 20 individual shots of every hero and villain with there respective vehicles. The other 20 shot were out of focus.

2010 School Year

First day of 2nd grade for Joshua. Yes, those are tears again this year.
Saying goodbye to Evie. She is trying to push away their faces.

My big 2nd grader, he only had tears the first day. Much better then last year, he chased the van every morning for weeks with tears not wanting to go into the playground.

My biggest Kindergartner. No tears from him!

Weston with his best friend Eli waiting to go into class.
Sitting on the reading rug in his new classroom!
*Sorry, I know school started more than a month ago. Better late than never :0)

Saturday Hiking

Last Saturday Jordan went with Matt and his kids on a hike to some waterfalls. Joshua rode his bike on the trail and "ate it" on a slippery hill. Just some elbow and knee carnage. They made it to the waterfall.

2 bikes
2 strollers

HiP-hOp cReW

The boys spent the afternoon practicing their hip-hop and break dancing skills.
Here are some SWEET head spins.

Wes likes to use PROPS in his routines.

They need practice on their synchronization.

They are both creating a STALL that works in the routine.
Now they both have rug burns on their foreheads from all the rehearsing they did.

Super Hero Party

Left: Zack, Landon, Weston, Joshua and Cohen
Our friend, Landon, had a SUper HEro birthday last week. Most of the kids dressed up like Spider Man. Grandma Judy had to take-in the arms and legs of Weston and Joshua spider costumes (thanks mom). Now the costumes can "grow-with-them" for the new couple years. Leave it to "THE WAL-MART", for $10 dollars you can make little boy's dreams come true! The party was SUPER fun, they made their own capes and hit the pinata.
The whole groupJoshua in a web shooting pose (Side ways stance). Weston is checking out Buzz.

Wet and Muddy

Saturday was our first wet and muddy soccer game! If you look close you can see mud on Joshua's face and in his ear. Once he had to run to the sideline because the goalie tossed the ball and mud sprayed in his eyes. There was lots of sliding and tripping in the mud. We had to explain to the kids this was one time it was OK to get dirty. The cooler weather and rain finally feels a little like fall.

Grandpa Reed and Grandma Geri came to watch Joshua play, he was so excited.

Answer- My BOYS

The shopping cart
(After this photo shoot I took them out to the parking lot in the shopping cart. Josh was standing in the basket part of the cart. A car sped towards us and I had to pull the cart back not to get hit and Josh lost his balance and flipped backwards on to his head/face in the parking lot. I freaked out because he landed on his face and it was bleeding, so I took both kids straight to the ER and called Jordan. Of course when he showed up he made us go home because Josh was acting OK and he hates the ER. So, now whenever we are using a shopping cart I can say you better sit down or you will fall on your head ( or dome) and a flash back of fear flashes in Josh's face and Weston knows to listen to me.)

I guess my little quiz wasn't very difficult. Everyone guess correctly.

Weston was baby A and Joshua was baby B. I thought if the photos were young baby looking it would be harder, but they looked way different even at 5 months. I was organizing baby books and baby portraits and I found some that I had never put in frames or anything because they were not my first choices. Now, I think they are still fun to look at.

My BOYS

Baby A

Can you guess Who is Who?

I had to take out the photo color so the hair colors didn't give it away.
Both photos were taken at about five months.

Baby B

For the Fans

(please turn off the music first to hear the video)

After many requests, the boys made a video of their famous guitar playing. They run around the house and if they hear any music from the t.v. they get their guitars and jam. At the end of the video Weston takes off his glow bracelet and throws it in to the "crowd". I don't know where they get this stuff. Also, sorry about the random legs shot in the video, my bad.

My BABY is 3

My little Weston is 3 years today. My little baby is so big now. When he saw his brother this morning the first thing he said was, "You wanna piece of me!" Wow, how they change so fast. We love you so much Weston. Happy Birthday!

Don't look back

Hopefully the first of many graduations, Joshua had his preschool one on Friday. He had been in preschool for like almost 3 years and he was ready to bust out of there. I know Jordan is excited not to pay his tuition anymore. Joshua can't wait for KINDERGARTEN. As a mom I feel kind of ripped off because he will only go for 3 hours, I need the 7 hour Kindergarten class. Anyway, this video is funny because all the other kids hugged all three teachers when they got their diplomas. When they called Josh up he ran and got it and sat back down with no HUGS! We didn't get the part where they said he wanted to be a firefighter when he grows up.

After the ceremony he did give his favorite teacher a hug, Teacher Maria.

Joshua learned to ride his two wheeler on Tuesday! He did it all by himself! He is cool just like his daddy without training wheels!

Party

Birthday BOY
Weston had his birthday party at the park yesterday. His real birthday is in a week, but his friends could only come this week. We had pizza and cupcakes and lots and lots of WIND! It was so windy that it was ridiculous, we had to duct tape one Dora table cloth down and I gave up on the rest of the tables. Salad was flying off plates and we were chasing garbage all over the park. So, the party lasted about 90 min and then we packed it up.

Aunt Heather got him his own "guitar hero", wow!
