Soccer Season 2010

Snuggling Grammie
Joshua is the head closest to the ball but furthest from the camera.

Joshua trying to stare down the opposing goalie.

Weston at goalie. This is his first season of soccer and he was amazing and scored two goals!!

This is Joshua's 3rd season and he had his first two goals ever in the first game of the season!!

Gammie Judy and grandpa Mark came to see the boys play their games and help with Evie.

Weston was amazing at goalie even though he was one of the smallest. He rarely let a ball pass by him. He was awesome and helped the "little quakes"hold their lead and win all season!

Way To Go Weston!

Coach Jordan

Watching his offense

The "little quakes" went on to only lose 3 and tie one game, raking them number 2 in the under six years group. Jordan was head coach for Weston's team.
Evie was ranked #1 cheerleader for both Earthquake teams!!
The big Earthquakes went undefeated for the 2010 soccer season raking them number 1 in the under 8 years group. Go Quakes!! Jordan was assistant coach for Joshua's team.

Soccer Season Begins

Joshua had his first soccer game Saturday. We didn't win, we actually got slaughtered. The other team had one kid who scored eight goals alone. He was stealing the ball from his own players and doing throw-ins to himself. As coach, Jordan just walked the sidelines instructing (yelling) directions to the kids. I don't think the kids could hear anything because all the parents were yelling/ cheering too. Our little Earthquakes had their first experience of playing a soccer game in 100+ degree heat. We had two goals that were exciting. Joshua played keeper for the first quarter and then ran around in "bunch-ball" as a body blocker the next two quarters. The banner my mom and I made looked great and I brought the halftime snack. I truly can say I'm a soccer mom.

Grandma Judy and Heather and Jason came to watch Joshua. Baby Wyatt was super cute watching his first soccer game. Thanks to Heather, Weston sat and ate fruit roll-ups on the quilt the whole time ( or wrestled with Jason).

Weston wouldn't look at the camera.

He almost 12lbs now!! What a biggest boy.
