Tonight I had the boys playing in the backyard, and I hear Joshua yell from the slider, "Mom, something is wrong with the hose!" My first thought is that they know they can't play with the hose and second I'm sure this will involve a load of laundry. I go outside to find Weston with the hose pouring full strength in to a muddy mess and Josh can't figure out how to turn the faucet off. So, they decided to dig a hole and fill it with water. NO big deal, except then they submerged there electric remote control cars into the pit. There was soaked shoes, socks, and muddy pants, so PJs were put on at about 6:00pm. Plus, my poor patio (that my dad just pressure-washed) has an inch of mud sprayed over it. I guess I need to teach them the fun new game "lets sweep and hose off the patio".

The best part is seeing the smiles on the boys faces when you are taking their pictures!! Boys will be boys! I am sure it won't be the last time you see this kind of a mess!!
I think Mom said it best, Boys will be boys. We have a dip in the road in front of the neighbors house and after it rains it is the highlight of all the kids, last rain Bryson layed down in it, so he was in his pjs pretty early too! Boys!
